Quick Start Guide
1
Setup Your Site
On first launch, enter your site/property name and optionally upload your organization logo. This appears on all patrol reports.
2
Add Guard Details
Enter the guard's name and take a reference selfie. This identifies the guard in all patrol records.
3
Define Patrol Points
Add named checkpoints for your patrol route (e.g., "Main Gate", "Parking Lot A", "Server Room"). You can add, edit, or remove points anytime.
4
Start a Patrol Round
Tap any patrol point tile on the dashboard. The app captures a rear photo and selfie simultaneously, locking GPS coordinates at that moment.
5
Share Your Report
Tap the Share button on the dashboard to compile your shift report and send it via WhatsApp to your supervisor.
6
Start a New Shift
Tap "New Shift" to clear all patrol records and begin a fresh round. Previous session data is removed from the device.
Frequently Asked Questions
Camera permission was denied โ how do I enable it?
Go to Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Camera and toggle GuardTrack Pro to ON. Then return to the app and tap Retry.
Location permission was denied โ how do I enable it?
Go to Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Location Services โ GuardTrack Pro and select "While Using the App".
GPS coordinates are missing from my patrol photos. Why?
Make sure Location Services are enabled (see above). Also ensure you are in an area with GPS signal โ indoors or underground can reduce accuracy. The app will use the last known location as a fallback.
Can I change the site name or logo after setup?
Yes. Go to Settings โ Site Setup from the dashboard to update your site name or logo at any time.
My patrol data is not showing after updating the app.
Patrol records are stored locally on your device. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, data from the previous installation cannot be recovered. Going forward, we recommend sharing reports before clearing shifts.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. GuardTrack Pro works fully offline after initial setup. Internet is only needed when you share your report via WhatsApp.
Is patrol data backed up to iCloud?
No. All data is stored locally on your device and is not backed up to iCloud or any server. This is by design for privacy.
The app crashes or freezes. What should I do?
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, please
email us with a description of the steps that caused the crash and your iPhone model and iOS version.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email us at
mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com with the subject "GuardTrack Pro โ Bug" or "GuardTrack Pro โ Feature Request". We read every message.
