A day job, and this

I am a software engineer in Bengaluru, India. Every app under my name went from an empty repository to a live URL or an approved App Store listing without anyone to hand the hard parts to — the schema, the layout, the release notes, the support email.

The work ships under MSRX, a brand covering 21 apps across three runtimes. They are small on purpose. Each one does a single job, and most of them do it without asking who you are first.

All 21 are free. Not free-for-now, not free-until-you-hit-a-limit — there is no paid tier, no subscription and nothing to upsell, anywhere in the world. 20 of them do not ask for an account either: open one in a private window and it works. A tool that can do its job without knowing who you are should not ask.

What I care about in a build, roughly in order: that it is correct, that it is fast enough to feel immediate, that it is usable by keyboard and screen reader, and that it does not collect anything it does not need. The last one costs real engineering time — on-device processing is harder than posting a file to a server — and it is still the right default.

None of this is a business. There is no paid tier, no consulting behind it and nothing being sold — I build these because I enjoy building them, and the good part is when someone else gets some use out of one. I am glad to collaborate, and I will make time for community work: the library platform runs for a real set of young readers, and it started that way.

Nearly everything here began as a gap — something I went looking for, could not find, and ended up writing. So if there is a tool you keep reaching for that does not exist, describe it to me. A genuinely useful idea is the scarce part; the building is the half I enjoy, and I would happily take it on.
