PassportFast – Privacy Policy

PassportFast was built with a privacy-first architecture. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your information — because we never designed one.

What Data We Collect

Nothing. PassportFast collects no personal data, no photos, no usage statistics, no device identifiers, and no analytics of any kind. We have no mechanism to do so and no desire to.

How Your Photos Are Processed

All photo processing is performed entirely on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's built-in frameworks:

Face detection uses Apple's Vision framework — runs locally, on-device.
Background removal uses Apple's Core Image framework — runs locally, on-device.
Your photos never leave your device.
No internet connection is required or used for any processing.
Photos you process are saved only to your own Photos Library — under your full control.

Device Permissions We Request

PassportFast requests the following permissions, used only for stated app functionality:

📷 Camera Access

Used to capture a passport or visa photo directly within the app using your front camera. We never access the camera in the background or without your explicit action.

🖼️ Photo Library (Read)

Used to let you select an existing photo from your library as the source image for your passport photo. We access only the photo you explicitly choose.

💾 Photo Library (Write)

Used to save your completed, processed passport photo back to your Photos Library for printing and sharing. Nothing is saved without your explicit tap.

Third-Party Services

PassportFast integrates no third-party services of any kind. There are:

No advertising SDKs
No analytics platforms (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
No crash reporting services
No social media integrations
No payment processors (the app is free / paid via App Store)

Children's Privacy

PassportFast does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data collection occurs, the app is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy (for example, when adding new features), we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Since we collect no data, any changes would only ever expand your privacy protections, never reduce them.
